Friendship
In ancient times rose was sacred to Venus, love goddes. The legend tells that the flower, white in the beginning, became red when the goddes, rushing to Adonis's aid, pricked herself with a thorn. Her blood's drops stained petals red. Blue rose is artificially tinted, so it has not symbolic meaning. However the colour is linked to loyality, confidence, honesty and piety. Negatively it means snobbery, indifference and infidelity.
